Rev. Carl Haak graduated from the Protestant Reformed Seminary in June of 1979 and was ordained into the ministry in September, 1979 as pastor of Southeast Protestant Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, MI. In 1986 he accepted the call to serve as pastor of the Lynden Protestant Reformed Church of Lynden, Washington. In 1994 he began serving Bethel Protestant Reformed Church of Roselle, Illinois. In 2004 he accepted the call to the Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church of Hudsonville, MI. He has written more than 75 articles for the Standard Bearer in addition to several pamphlets. He has also served as the denomination’s Radio Pastor since 1995; beginning in 2009 he has shared the task with two other pastors. Currently he serves on the Mission committee and is involved in Georgetown’s assistance of the Reformed Christian church of Vellore, India and has made two trips there 2011 and 2013.
